Suncadia Resort

Golf, Fishing, Spa, Lodging, Fine Dining, Wine!

Troutwater is very proud of more than eight years of partnership with the Suncadia Resort and Lodge. As Suncadia’s exclusively contracted vendor, Troutwater provides outdoor recreational activities such as guided fly fishing tours and programs, and river rafting excursions.

Suncadia has quickly become a recreational playground for Seattleites and travelers across the Pacific Northwest. Located 90 minutes east of Seattle in the Cascade Mountains, Suncadia offers a unique combination of activities and amenities that make it an ideal Northwest getaway. Suncadia received the 2012 AAA Four Diamond Award, the third time the resort has received this award since its opening in 2007.

Suncadia is set on six miles of pristine Cle Elum River frontage, with 80 percent of the resort community designated as open space. It features over 50 miles of hiking and biking trails and is a certified Built Green Community. Its three golf courses – Prospector and Rope Rider Golf Courses and the private Tumble Creek Golf Course – were ranked among the top ‘10 Best New Courses in America’ in 2006 and 2011 by Golf Digest. The third golf course, Rope Rider, was named 2011 Best New Course of the Year by Golf Digest.

Amenities at Suncadia include Portals restaurant, two bars, the Suncadia Swim & Fitness Center, a skating rink and outdoor amphitheater, and the LEED Silver-Certified Glade Spring Spa. The Lodge at Suncadia is a lodge in the grandest Northwest tradition, featuring majestic architecture, panoramic river and mountain views, and all the amenities of a full-service luxury hotel and conference center. A collection of custom, Cle Elum vacation rental homes is also available at Suncadia.

Swiftwater Cellars is Washington State’s newest winery.  Opened on September 10th, 2010, Swiftwater Cellars is situated atop Coal Mine No. 9 overlooking the Rope Rider golf course and features a tasting bar, restaurant, pro shop and special event facilities. Swiftwater Cellars’ wines are sourced from select vineyards in the Pacific Northwest and tended to by veteran winemaker, Tony Rynders of Tony Rynders Consulting. They were released during the winery’s grand opening celebration September 10th & 11th, 2010.
